Purpose: to promote research and study of the Satir Model


The Satir Journal
, a new academic periodical offers the therapeutic approach and spiritual vision of Virginia Satir (1916-1988), the pioneer family therapist. She was recently voted the fifth most influential therapist of all time by the Psychotherapy Networker. Along with advanced approaches to individual, family and group therapy, this journal focuses on applications of the Satir Model in multi-cultural health care settings.
